Set — Quickly turn to the desired torque value with a smooth thumbscrew adjustment.
Lock — Teeth inside the cover lock the torque setting in place while you are using the wrench.
Leave – Because there’s no internal tension when the wrench is at rest, you don’t need to turn it to the lowest setting for storage.
As force is applied to the handle, the wrench flexes until the catch contacts the calibration set screw. This disengages the anchor beam from the main beam, causing it to spring inside the wrench body and produce a "click" sound.
